How do you make yourself not look tired?

Q: i get 8+ hours of sleep a night, so sleep isn't the issue. just give me some simple tricks to make myself to look more awake.

A: I am a Freelance Makeup Artist and I want to tell you that concealer, blush, mascara and lip gloss are your new best friends. First, wash your face. Rinse with warm water then follow with a rinse of cool water. This will close pores and stimulate the blood in your face and cause you to get that just worked- out glow. Apply a tinted moisturizer to even out the skin tone and sunscreen (in the daytime). To cover dark cirlces and blemishes, apply foundation in your skin color then follow with concealer a shade lighter over them. Apply a brown black waterproof mascara from root to tip on the top lash only, then follow with a second coat at the tips only. Then apply a berry colored blush (this color is universally flattering) to the apples of the cheeks. Blend upward toward hairline but not past outer eyebrow. Apply gloss with light reflecting pearls to lips. I hope this helps.
