A: Hi, I'm a current make-up artist and have previously worked for CLINIQUE, and Christian Dior. Anyway, you're 13, so you don't want to pack the make-up on. That will come later on 'if' you even need it. I would experiment with some eyeshadow. Thats something you didn't list, and eyeshadow and color can be very fun to play with. It IS always good to have some cover-up because it comes in handy when you have a break-out or blemish. You'll put that on 'before' you put your foundation on. I'd wear probably a chocolate brown or soft black eyeliner for your eyes, and don't draw too harsh of a line on either top or bottom lid. Keep it soft and smudgy. Try some eyeshadow colors like a shimmery pink on your lid, with a chocolate brown in the eye crease for a day look. If you have blue eyes, experiment with browns and coral colors. If you have green or hazel, try purples. If you have brown, try corals, copper, and other brownish red shades. Check out this site to see the placement of the colors. http://www.easymakeupguide.com/simpleeye.html For the most part, you want to use your darkest color in the crease and blend it with a brush or you make-up applicator tip. Keep the lightest colors right on your lid. Good luck with your first day of 8th grade! And keep experimenting with make-up at home. Try buying one of those Covergirl 3 color eyeshadows and experiment with the 3 colors. "Shimmering Sands" is a great palette, and the shimmery pink is great on your lid.
