Q: I love my makeup and all, but when you're less than a foot away, you can really see it sitting on top of my skin, but far away it looks natural and perfect. Is makeup supposed to look like this, or am I not putting it on correctly.
A: I blend with a sponge like CRAZY! Don't apply too much powder. Invest in MAC Fix +, it takes away the cakey powdery look. Mix some moisterizer and foundation so it goes on less cakey. A foundation primer will create a barrier on your face, fill in pores and lines. I use Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer or you can use Sally Hansen's Luminzing Face Primer.
