Q: I ordered a pencil online but I was just wondering, is liquid easier? My friend at camp put it on and it got in her eye, so she has a black line across her eye! I don't want that to happen to me, but I want to know what your experience with it is... ?
A: Pencil is definitely easier, and it creates a thicker, smudgy line. Liquid liner is tricky and takes some practice, but it creates a thin line. And don't worry if it gets in your eye...it won't hurt it. Your natural tears will flush it out. Some hints/tips if you want to try with the liquid... If you're right handed, rest your right elbow on the counter or vanity table to help steady your hand. Use your left hand to gently pull your eyelid down and outward, so the skin is taut. Try and do the line in one sweep--if you stop and restart, the line will look messy. Use a light touch. If you're still having trouble, try using a pencil liner first to make small, light dots along the eyelid, and then use the liquid to connect them and trace over them. Don't worry--it will get easier! --->Good Luck!
