Q: Hello earthlings... i have a slight case of rosacea and wanted to know if this foundation would cover it, how it feels on your skin (powder or cream), and if u think it is worth the money (y u liked it, or y u didnt). or are there better cheaper mineral foundations Thanks!
A: Bare Minerals looks like a powder but is actually creamy. It provides light coverage and blends your skin tone into what I call soft focus. It does not provide full coverage or even medium coverage for that matter, and if that's what you're looking for you probably won't like Bare Minerals or any other mineral foundation. However, Bare Minerals is very healing to the skin and improved my skin tone and totally healed an acne scar I had too, all within a couple of months. I definitely recommend the products. When I want fuller coverage, I apply the Bare Minerals with the Handy BukI brush (it comes with the starter kit) because it gives fuller coverage than the other brush, and then I use a little Clinique concealer on the areas where I want more coverage. If you want to try something cheaper, O Magazine voted Maybelline's mineral foundation line as the best one. I haven't tried it myself, but the magazine loved it.
