Q: I'm only 20, which one should I use? Do i have to use foundation?
A: loose powder are usually used to set liquid foundation and reduce shine, you would also need a soft powder brush to apply it evenly, since the puff applicator that comes with them don't usually spread it evenly. they are also generally messier so it would be best suited for home use. compact powder usually comes in different kind of coverage. light coverage are used for touch ups to prevent shine. heavier coverage compact needs no liquid foundation, you can apply it straight on moisturized skin. it really depends on your skin type, if your skin is oily, compact with coverage is better. however, if it is dry, liquid foundation with loose powder would be a good choice. if you need minimum coverage, applying loose powder without foundation would be enough.
