Q: I'm going into high school in 2 weeks and I need some make up tips. I am an all around Preppy girlie girl, but the only make up i usually wear is foundation but this year i want to wear make up. I like companies like cover girl, revlon, and maybeline. Can someone tell me what make -up i should use and some tips. I have a medium tan complection, dark brown hair, and brown eyes.
A: LESS IS MORE. really. you don't want to come off as trashy, especially in your first year. Try natural tones that compliment your skin type and eye color. Maybelline has this line that has eye make up to compliment your eye color- try that, it works well without looking over done! The best make up tip I can give you is bronzer. add a little bronzer to accent your cheeks and nose (use sparingly though) it brightens up your face and gives you a summery glow. The best tip I can give you about high school is to go into it with CONFIDENCE! that's the prettiest thing in a person. Self assurance without coming across as snotty or stuck up. good luck!!!! ~A
