Q: whats the difference between compressed and loose powder? i was wondering which is best for covering up blemishes and making your skin look flawless also i was wondering which order you put your make up on concealer foundation then power?? also which brand of make up is best to use?
A: I think loose powder with a nice fluffy brush is much better than pressed powder. I use bare minerals and swear by it, I even have my mother swearing by it now. It covers up (and even clears up) my acne, acne scars, redness (unless I start getting flushed) and big pores. I got a starter pack several years ago and it's well worth the money. It looks totally natural. You can get a starter pack at bareminerals.com. You can buy the pieces separately but it would be way more expensive, I wish I could buy another starter pack just to get a bunch of good stuff for cheap except I'd have a lot of duplicate stuff then. You can buy it at a Bare Escentuals store, Ulta or Sephora (bareescentuals.com, ulta.com, sephora.com). I was skeptical when I tried it, but it was a last resort because everything else I ever used gave me cystic acne. It's really the best.
