(loreal, covergirl, neutrogena, etc) 5) best eyeliner 6) best mascara 7) best eyeshadow that brings out dark brown eyes 8) how to make eyeshadow last long

A: 1. (Moisturizer first, but you didn't have that in the list) Foundation, concealer, powder to set the look. 2. It depends on the kind of coverage you want. First, always moisturize, because it helps the foundation blend better. I usually use a makeup sponge. Start by putting a little foundation on the sponge, then dab the foundation on the places you want to cover up and even out. Then go back and blend the foundation outwards, and make sure you blend all the way out to the hairline and jaw (though the foundation shouldn't be as heavy there). If you need more coverage in certain areas, go back over them and blend, blend, blend. You can also use your fingers if you only have a few areas you want to use foundation on. There are also foundation brushes you can buy at places like MAC or Sephora, though I'm not sure how applying foundation with a brush will make a difference. 3. You should always test foundation on your jaw. If the foundation blends in, and you can't tell its there, then the shade matches. Some people test it on the inside of their wrist, but I would NOT recommend this, because often that area is lighter or a different shade than your face is. Its really not as accurate as testing on your jawline. Do NOT get a shade lighter or darker than your skin, because you don't want to look like you're wearing a mask! Remember, we're not trying to change your skintone, here, we're trying to make your skin look naturally flawless! However, concealer (especially for undereye circles) should be a shade lighter than your skin. This rule doesn't apply for foundation! Your powder should also match your skintone. Some companies (like L'oreal) make matching powders for the foundation you buy. 4. I've tried several drugstore foundations, but the best I've tried is L'oreal True Match. They have shades to match all different skintones with different undertones, too (cool, warm, and neutral). But, if you want a more expensive foundation that will be of a better quality, I suggest MAC Select SPF 15 Foundation. I use it currently, and it blends really well after you moisturize, and evens everything out seamlessly. 5. Personally, I love Covergirl's Perfect Point Plus eyeliner. Its inexpensive, and it comes with a sponge on the end for smuding to get a softer look. 6. I'm still looking for my favourite mascara! But I really like the Maybelline ones, especially the one with the mini-brush (Lash something, I can't quite remember). I also like Rimmel's. 7. I would go for gold, shimmery brown, bronze, and green eyeshadows. Maybelline has eyeshadow quads that tell you exactly where to put the eyeshadow on your eyes for different looks. 8. To make eyeshadow last longer, you can apply an eyeshadow primer (I think Urban Decay has one), or you can apply a neutral shade of eyeshadow that matches your eyelid to serve as the base for you eyeshadow. Using a little foundation on your eyelids before applying your eyeshadow can work as well. I hope this helped, and good luck! :)
