How could I get this look?

Q: It is an icon but I love the color combinations. How do you think I could get the effect with everyday makeup? Link is below http://i324.photobucket.com/albums/k357/angelfire721/ththeye69.gif

A: As everyone has said, MAC is the best stuff in terms of getting the colors. BUT, if MAC is too expensive, using color eyeshadows and a wet eyeshadow sponge or brush works too! It will take a little practice, but you can get a much more intense color out of any eyeshadow by adding a little moisture. It looks like the eye is lined with dark liner right at the lashline, and there looks like there's quite a bit of mascara on the eyelashes (I would get an old mascara brush and wash it out, you'll use this as a lash comb to build the mascara up without clumping). I always start with the lightest colors first and then build to a darker look and as someone already said (and you prob already know this, but just in case) this is a very heavy/intense look that is not for every day wear, it needs to be for a club or a place where there is not much light, or you will look whorish :S I would start with a really matte (no shine/metallic stuff in it) nude color first to even out your eyelid color, you can use pressed powder for this too. Then I would apply the eyeshadow as you see them on the picture and then liner on top and mascara is, of course, last (I always do it last because when you put eyeshadow on, the powder can dust over the lashes and make them seem lighter than they are). Do not put dark shadows on the inner corner of your eye, that will make it look like you have bruises, save that for just above the crease where the eyelid bends and the outer edge of the lit and browbone. Make sure you don't put dark shadow (instead light!) right under the brow. If you have to, blend with fingers, the oil in them sometimes lets you blend better than brushes and sponges! When you're done wearing the eye make up MAKE SURE to take it off really well, don't don't don't fall asleep in it or you will get nasty eye styes.
