Q: well, i want to buy all new make up since mine is getting a little bit old. and i was wondering what are some good drugstore makeup. please be really specific. i would like to know the following: eyeliner eye shadow mascara blush lip color brushes *i already have a foundation and concelor that i love. i want this make up to be able to hold all day. thanks for your help.
A: Eyeliner - I just bought Loreal HIP's color truth cream eyeliner in "black" and have fallen in love with it--the color is very black and intense, and it's so easy to use even though it may look intimidating in the package. It's the best eyeliner I've ever used, perfect for creating day and nighttime looks. Eyeshadow - I normally use MAC, but my favorite drugstore eyeshadows come from Covergirl. I love the single-kit one in "Mink", it's shimmery and versatile. Covergirl also has good shadow quads. Mascara - My all-time favorite is Neutrogena's Healthy Volume in Black, it has a huge brush that doesn't make your lashes clumpy and gross. Loreal Voluminous is a great one too. I love mascara :) Blush - Rimmel London makes an awesome cream blush that gives skin a healthy glow, I like it in "Peach Iced Tea". And JANE makes a pretty shimmery bronzer that I use sometimes for more of a glow. Lip Color - I normally wear Chapstick Lip Moisturizer, but sometimes I like to wear Loreal HIP Jelly Balm in Ripe for a sheer and pretty color. Brushes - I bought a kit at CVS or Wal-Mart from "Essential Tools", I can't remember which store it was, for $10, and it has all the essentials - eyeliner brush, powder and blush brush which I use for bronzer, blending brushes and more. The blush brush is the only one I'm dissapointed in, but it's worth the buy since it comes with tons of brushes and a mirror!
