A: i would suggest going to a department store with a makeup counter and ask one of the girls at the counter for some help picking out makeup. [and if you're worried about them pressuring you into buying something right away, say that you wanted to pick it out and put it on hold and you want to come back with your mom later so she can pay for it. it works every time!] anyway, usually they'll do it for you to help show you how, but even if they don't they're usually a great way to get some free personalized tips. for someone your age, i'd ask them to help you do something natural, but will still stand out. shiny coppery/gold-tones or light earth-tones will work really well. younger people with tons of really heavy makeup just look cheap and like they're trying too hard to look older. good luck sweetie!
