A: I think that 7th grade is fine, as long as you're conservative with it and your parents don't mind =) Maybe your mom can even show you how to put it on and all. Just in case you need them, I'll include recommendations on what to get and how to apply it. =D For a natural look, I would go with a concealer (if you need it) to cover blemishes or problem areas on the skin. Most of them come in little tubes, and you'll just dab it on lightly until it covers the problem area. http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... Once you've done that, apply foundation. I prefer liquid myself because I think that it goes on easier. You'll just want a thin coating of it, applied with a makeup sponge, on your entire face over the concealer to even out your skin tone. (A little bit REALLY goes a long way with this stuff - be warned!) http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... Now, take powder (I prefer pressed powder myself...) and lightly coat over the foundation. It should come with a makeup sponge in a small compact. This will keep your skin from appearing oily. Just a very light coat - too much powder will make your makeup look cakey. http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... On top of that, you'll probably want to add a little, very light blush (in pink or peach) to the apples of your cheeks. Put a very small amount of blush onto a makeup brush, sart at the apples of your cheeks and sweep it back and up toward your ears very lightly. http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... If you'd like to wear eyeshadow, I'd suggest warm, light browns right along the lashes with a pinker brown or bronze on the lid. This'll make your eyes really pop when you put on the mascara. It should come with a small pointed applicator. Be warned, a little bit goes a long way! http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... If you want to give them a little bit of shimmer, this stuff works great. The Champagne color is my favorite - some of the other ones are way too dark, but it comes with its own applicator and a tiny bit of it swept over regular shadow helps your eyes stand out. Its sold at target and walmart, but I can't find it on their sites... this is it, though: http://www.newyorkcolor.com/products/ind... If you wish to add eyeliner, use a liquid one and go for short even strokes. I don't particularly prefer it, but if you decide to use eyeliner, I'd go with a brown/black. http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... Now, add brown or black mascara with the wand it comes with. Be careful not to poke yourself, and if it gets on you, try to wipe it away quickly and put a little of the pressed powder over the light mark if it leaves one. With your eye open, work your way from the inside lashes to the outside lashes. If you need to take a break, just resume in a few minutes. It's better to give your eye a rest than to get it on your face. http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.j... Straighten the eyebrows with an eyebrow brush, if you wish. Angle the hair up and away from the eye. http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.j... Add lipstick or gloss and check for a makeup line around your chin, neck, ears, and hair. If you find that you have one, just blend it into your natural skin color by adding a little pressed powder. http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor... Hope that helps! =) Good luck, and try looking up some videos online if you need to watch the application of any of this! =) I forgot to mention: Be sure to wash your face before you apply makeup and after you take it off! Everything I linked was oil-free, so if you have any complexion problems, you should be fine with these items. The concealer will even help heal breakouts!
