A: Well a gold/earthy color palette would be perfect for someone with your skin tone and hair color. Try dark brown eyeliner if black is too harsh for you, and try to limit the liner to the top lid, since too much on the bottom just seems overdone and unnatural. Greens, browns, and golds would look great on your eyes, and stay away from shades of purple/blue. The goal of makeup is to highlight what you already have, and gold/green tones agree with your tan and hazel eyes. If you want metallics, stick to gold, and stay away from silver or gray. Stay away from reds/oranges because they will definitely wash you out. Apply your preferred shade of eyeshadow lightly, and then use the brown or black liner to lightly and gently line the top of your lids. Try to get a brand that doesn't smudge or run, otherwise you might be guilty of the raccoon look as the day goes on. So apply a thin line of liner, and use a Q-tip or something to smudge the line slightly, so make it look like less of a harsh line and to blend it slightly with the shadow. Get an eyelash curler if you want, or just apply a TINY bit of mascara to only the very ends of your lashes to define them and make them seem a bit longer. Remember, when it comes to eye makeup, less is DEFINITELY more. Nothing screams "I'm a young girl trying really hard to look older than overdone makeup." The more natural it is, the more beautiful you'll look. The best makeup is the kind that makes you look like you ACTUALLY look that good without makeup, and people won't notice it much until they get closer and take a second look. For lip shades, I recommend a clear (since you're young) or a subtle shade of nude pink. Good luck! Perfecting a makeup palette that suits you takes some experimenting :)
