Is there any way to stop my face from getting oily?

Q: Like many other women, I wear make-up. Does ZA two way cake foundation makes skin face's oily? I put on Himalaya's Moisturizing Cream before putting on the make-up. Does by doing this, makes my skin oily too? By the way i work in an air-conditioned place most of the time. Does this affect my skin to go oily? i find that my forehead and nose gets really oily compared to my cheeks and chin. why is that so. Your advice is much appreciated. Thanks! Thanks for all the advice. But i'm the type of person who's not 'adventureous' as in changing Moisturizers brand(b'cos of bad experience by trying on different brands). By the way how do i know if my moisturizer is oil free???

A: Some women are more prone to having oily skin than others. You have to work with your style of skin. This means that you'll want to make sure that the products you use are formulated for oily skin. Sometimes a dry environment can contribute to making your skin oily because it has a "rebound effect": it dries your skin out so much that it overcompensates with excess oil. Your forehead and nose, known as your T-zone, are more prone to being oily than other locations on your face. If you are still concerned with the shine after switching to products made for your skin type, try purchasing blotting sheets to mop up excess oil throughout the day.
