Q: Today at work my coworker was talking about switching out her wardrobe for the fall/winter. It made me realize....I don't have a set wardrobe for certain times of the year. And, the few items I do have that I wear more in the warmer months than the winter months, I don't store. I just leave them in my drawers/closet. So, my question is, do you have a set wardrobe that you only wear at certain times? I guess I just like to buy clothes that are functional/wearable any time.
A: You can make most clothes functional for any season, really. I buy whatever clothes I want whenever I want and leave them in my closet all year round just as you do. You can wear tank tops in the winter, just put a cardigan or sweater over it. Some people do that to create more room in their closets or dressers. My mother bags up her summer clothes and puts them in the attic to bring out winter clothes. I think its a lot of hassle and you never know if you're going to want to wear something that "isn't in season" and you'll have to go digging. To each his own.
