I'm new to this earrings thing? ?

Q: 1 I know this sounds stupid but im bored. i just got my ears pierced and i was wondering if i can wear my mom's earrings? #2 Also is there a certain "process" i have to do when removing my newly pierced earrings after 6 weeks?

A: If you just got your ears pierced, don't mess with them. You can't remove the earrings that you were pierced with for 6 weeks straight. If you do, the holes will heal up and you could get infected. After 6 weeks, you may change the earrings, but they can not be fake and you must keep a set of earrings in at all times until 6 months have passed. It sounds like a long time, but if you don't follow those directions, the holes could close up and you could get in infection in the wound. Whoever pierced your ears should have also given you a bottle of antiseptic. You should use it every day according to the directions on the bottle. If you have none, you should stop by Claire's if you have one in a nearby mall. I'm sure they'd sell you some. That's where I got my ears pierced. Also, no. There is no process. Just use the antiseptic before putting another pair of earrings in. Be sure to disinfect any other earrings you wear. I hope I helped :) ~Kairi~
