Q: We manage an operate a bridal store in the US. We purchase 3 seasons plus extras sample gowns from Maggie Sottero. Each season as an authorize dealer we were force to pickup 12 sample pieces if we want to carry the line. Our account is now close, and we even got kick off their store locator's page because we didn't purchase gowns for 2 seasons from their catalog. What makes it worse, we were told that our store is no longer authorize to place orders from any of these 3 seasons still active line in our sample inventory if a customer place an order. Believe us, we tried almost everything to get rid of these bridal gowns from Maggie Sottero line out of our store that is only taking up space that we need. We even tried selling them lower than the sample price paid, but we don't seem able to sell them. We spent "thousands" of dollars ordering these dresses. We find it very unfair for Maggie Sottero to treat us this way just because we were not their brick and mortar store. Later we realize after reading their sample dealer policy and totally misunderstood their Jorgan, that we made a huge, huge mistake becoming an authorize dealer for Maggie Sottero Bridal. We're certain that many other past authorize bridal store dealer has experience these same issues. Anyone with some good valid advice please "HEEELP" us on how to rid our store of these Maggie Sottero Gowns.
A: I know someone who owns a bridal shop. I can pass some info to her to see if she's interested in purchasing from you. If you have pics or something that might help.
