A: A lot of stores or websites do not take Visa Electron or Solo cards as they are not cheque guarantee cards or full accounts etc, If you are under eighteen then you are given either an electron card or a solo card as it means that it is unlikely for you to get overdrawn. You would be better off to have a Visa, Mastercard or a Maestro card as they are accepted virtually everywhere, American Express is like that as well, a lot of places wont accept it. Hope this helps.
