Q: I see it all the time, and I think it's hideous--it's where the model puts her hands on her hips, but she points her hands up. Then, she proceeds to raise her shoulders, making her collar bone stick out, and she looks anorexic. I see it a lot on girls modeling dresses for catalogs, and wanted to know if there is a name for this horrendous pose. Anyone know? "Shrugging" is not what I'm talking about. I know what shrugging is. The pose I'm talking about is in a lot of high fashion pictures, and, like I said, in catalogs. And just to repeat another detail--I know the picture I posted for reference isn't the best, but it should give you a general idea.
