Q: hey! I thought maybe someone out there could help me wit a problem i have. Some of my friends are hatin on me, cuz i don't wear preppy "white boy" clothes (i.e. A&F, Hollister, Billabong, Aeropostale, etc.) I tend to wear more "Urban" clothes, like southpole, ecko unlimited, long baggy pants, etc. I just don't like to wear tight shirts and tight pants. They keep buggin, cuz i won't get clothes that are like theirs. I am getting tired of them, cuz one of em says, that i get my long shirt, baggy clothes style from rappers. where does white clothes styles come from? and do you think that i should change my style of clothes? Whomever answers this, thank you for your advice!
A: First of all sweetie...Be proud of yourself...You are an individual! One of the bravest things you will ever do is be yourself. Your friends are probably just jealous they dont have the courage to be different. If you like what you're wearing..dont worry about what anyone has to say..they are not buying your clothes so who the hell cares what the say???? You got your own style and its cool you dont want to look like a cookie cutter Hollister boy...Thank Goodness! Just shake the haters off and keep rockin your hot Ecko jeans.....Doing anything else would not be true to who you are
